Thomas Hoppe - Chair of Trustees

Tom was the COO/CFO for Coalition, a leading business intelligence provider to Investment Banks. Having graduated in Economics and Politics from the University of Warwick, Tom spent 25 years at JP Morgan and predecessor banks holding global leadership roles in Fixed Income Businesses. Tom joined Scotts in 2007. Prior to becoming Chairman, Tom led the successful planning and development of the extension for St Peters Row.
Peter Bibb - IT

Peter is a maths graduate of Kings College London, and was a Managing Director with 30+ years’ investment banking technology experience primarily in JPMorgan and Citibank. His focus was on major transformational programmes in the Fixed Income trading business, covering transaction processing and regulatory initiatives. He has been associated with Scotts since 2015 and joined as a Trustee in 2020.
Andrew Blevins - Health and Safety

Andrew is UK Managing Director of Liberty Property Trust and has been active in the property industry for 30 years. Prior to joining Liberty, Andrew served as European Director of Jones Lang LaSalle’s international property consultancy and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Andrew is also a director of Kent’s inward investment agency, Locate in Kent.
Sue Bourne - Finance and General Purposes

Sue is a non-executive partner with Frog Capital, a private equity fund specialising in fast-growing European businesses. She graduated from St Andrews University and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Sue worked for 3i for 15 years where she was a UK Director. She has experience of 2 other private equity funds and in 2013 she was involved for 12 months as a business volunteer for the charity Pilotlight. Sue joined as a Trustee in August 2014.
Derek McMenamin - Legal

Derek spent 30 years at Linklaters, the global business law firm, including 21 years as a partner in its Corporate Department. From 2011 until 2014 he was a non-executive director of Crown Agents, which operates in the international aid and development sector and he remains a non-executive director of its subsidiary, Crown Agents Bank. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and joined Scotts in January 2015.
Martin Miles - Finance and General Purposes

Martin is a retired actuary and a former Partner of PWC. He chairs the Education Committee of the Actuaries Livery Company and is on the Board of Citizens Advice North & West Kent.
Auxilia Muganiwah - Care and Safeguarding

Auxilia is a registered Learning Disability nurse. She has 20 years experience working with people with mental and cognitive impairments and associated conditions. In addition, she has over 7 years experience assessing mental capacity in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and associated guidance as part of the Local Authority and as part of her role with TSF Consultants.
Mick Pavey - Finance and General Purposes

Mick retired from Schroders in 2020 where he was employed in the role of Chief Operating Officer, Portfolio Services. Prior to that, he held senior executive roles at Legal & General Investment Management and UBS Global Asset Management.
Richard Tapsfield - Chair of Policy Committee

Richard is a graduate of Cambridge University and joined Scotts in January 2019. He was with Linklaters, the international law firm, for 40 years as trainee, associate and then partner, advising on commercial litigation and leading their professional indemnity insurance programme.
