Why we will always need your support
Scotts Project Trust provides high-quality services in homely and idyllic surroundings. Residents in St Peter's Row, our residential home and in Oaks and Willows, the Supported Living house, can feel at home, express themselves and learn vital life skills.
At Scotts Day Services, those attending are encouraged to learn and develop in vibrant sessions and activities. Our caring, competent staff and volunteers support each person to get the most from life in all three of these services.
Our income from fees, mostly from local authorities, cover a basic level of service. To maintain the quality of our work, and to expand it to meet the needs of more people with a learning disability, we must raise funds.
The funds we raise help to maintain our essential facilities, for example refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms to ensure they meet the needs of our residents.
Ideas for fundraising for Scotts
From dragon boat racing to wine-tasting evenings, our volunteer fundraisers find entertaining ways to raise funds for us. Every penny matters to us and we are always ready to send a team from Scotts to cheer you on! If you have a great idea for an event to fundraise for Scotts, please get in touch on 01732 367917 or by emailing .
Local companies, schools and organisations
Getting involved in our work can be a great experience for your employees, pupils and students; pupils from Tonbridge Grammar run a regular signing session in the Day Services at the development centre, which they enjoy as much as those attending do.
'The opportunities offered to our students allows them to explore beyond the class room and really engage with others learning from their experiences.' Mrs S Twinam, Tonbridge Grammar School
Charity of the year
There are lots of ways you can help, from cake sales to sponsored challenges and staff volunteering days. We are always keen to form partnerships with local companies so please get in touch with our Community Engagement Manager, Denise Tucker.
Scotts is an engaging local cause for employees and perhaps customers to get involved with. Working with us will help to transform the lives of our residents and clients and it could help your company to reach some CSR objectives, too. This kind of support is invaluable to Scotts, providing not just much-needed funds but also helping to raise awareness of our work.
