This policy is intended to set out the values, principles and procedures underpinning Scotts Project Trust’s (the Trust) approach to complaints

Scotts Project Trust is aware that successful health and safety management is based upon five key principles, namely, a suitable and sufficient policy, organisation, planning & implementation, measuring performance and reviewing performance.

The Trust always aims for the very best quality of care and will not be satisfiedwith anything that falls short of this. It takes every possible action to prevent abuse/harm from occurring, but in the event abuse/harm does occur the Trust deals with itas promptly and effectively aspossible.

Scotts Project Trust understands “whistleblowing” to refer to actions taken by a member/members of staff to raise concerns about bad/harmful practice.

Scotts Project Trust understands that it must always act in an open and transparent way with service users and their representatives. This is reflected within the Statement of Purpose for each of its Services and in all of the Trust’s relationships with its service users and others involved in their care and/or support.

Scotts Project Trust is committed to conducting its business in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This policy sets forth the expected behaviours of the Trust’s staff and Third Parties in relation to the collection, use, retention, transfer, disclosure and destruction of any Personal Data.
