Scotts is a small charity providing homely residential and supported living accommodation in Tonbridge for adults with learning disabilities.  We pride ourselves on the way we value and support our staff team, believing that a happy staff team is the foundation of great person-centred care.  Our staff retention and approval rating is exemplary.


We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Care Home Manager to work 37.5 hours per week (including 8 hours every other weekend), to support the Registered Manager and to provide management, leadership and support to the team leaders.

 Key Responsibilities will include:

 Managing the day to day running of the service

  • Ensuring the service exceeds good practice requirements
  • Staff management, rotas, training and support
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication


 Experience & Skills:

  •  NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care at Level 4 or above and experience of working at supervisory or managerial level
  • Flexible, organised and motivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate


All statutory training will be provided, along with opportunities to acquire more advanced qualifications.
